Bearcats To Open 2011 Season With First Pitch Reception

CINCINNATI - The Cincinnati Bearcats baseball team will launch the 2011 season on Friday, Feb. 11, with a First Pitch Reception at Green Diamond Gallery in Montgomery, Ohio from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

"We are all anxious for the start of the 2011 season, and I look forward to this evening where we can gather at the Green Diamond Gallery," Bearcats head coach Brian Cleary said. "It's an environment that any baseball fan will love and where we can celebrate UC Baseball with the people who love and support our program."

The program begins at 7:30 p.m. and admission is free, but all attendees must register by Monday, Feb. 7. The event is limited to 125 guests and registrations will be accepted until full.

"I also invite anyone who doesn't yet know UC Baseball to come and get involved without players and our fans and become a part of our program beginning with this event," Cleary said.

The celebration of the start of the 2011 Bearcats Baseball season will feature appetizers, an open bar, and valet parking for all guests.
