CINCINNATI - The University of Cincinnati women's basketball team will host No. 2/2 Connecticut on Saturday, Jan. 29, at 2 p.m. in Fifth Third Arena.
Tickets are available at the gate for $5 for adults, $3 for children 12 and under, and $1 per person for groups of 10 or more.
Doors open at 12:30 p.m. with Bearcats Family Zone opening on the East concourse of the arena. Family zone will include UC pop-a-shot, sign-making to cheer on your Bearcats, a Bearcat coloring station, and Lucy the Bearcat, thanks to the Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Gardens.
The Queen City Chapter, The Links, Incorporated has partnered with a select group of local retail outlets and media sponsor The Cincinnati Herald and will sell the Crown Jewels of the Queen City calendar, which features many of the first ladies of our community and includes local community leaders, volunteers and activists, health care providers, cancer survivors, educators, communicators, public servants, spiritual leaders, business and non-profit executives. UC head coach Jamelle Elliott and Senior Associate Director of Athletics and Senior Woman Administrator Robin Martin are featured in the Crown Jewels of the Queen City calendar, which are available for $10.
The halftime show will feature performances by the UC dance team and Zooperstars, one of the fastest-growing entertainment acts in the country.
Following the game, selected Bearcats players will sign autographs on the concourse alongside former ESPN Sportscenter anchor Betsy Ross, who will be signing copies of her new book Playing Ball with the Boys.
