No. 45 Indiana Tops Cincinnati

Final Stats

Bloomington, Ind. - The University of Cincinnati tennis team traveled to play its second dual match of the weekend, falling, 7-0, at No. 45 Indiana on Sunday afternoon at the IU Tennis Complex.

The UC singles lineup changed slightly as Caitlin O'Gara played in the No. 3 position and Elise Woulfe played in the No. 5 position. Woulfe won nine games against Kayla Fujimoto (6-3, 7-6) and Lindsey Lonergan won nine games in the No. 6 position against Myriam Sopel (7-6, 6-3). The No. 1 position of Ksenia Slynko and Jasmine Lee in doubles competition pushed the match to nine, falling 9-7 to Fujimoto and Evgeniya Vertesheva. Ashleigh Witte and Woulfe also played 16 games in doubles action, falling 9-7 in the No. 3 position against Sophie Garre and Leslie Hureau.

Cincinnati will play at Bowling Green next, Saturday, Feb. 5 in a 6 p.m. match.
