The University of Cincinnati baseball team opens its 2011 season by participating in the BIG EAST/Big Ten Challenge in the greater Tampa, Fla. area. Cincinnati starts the tournament by playing Ohio State at 1 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 18, at Al Lang Stadium in St. Petersburg, Fla. The Bearcats and Buckeyes matchup will be streamed live on Collegebaseball360.com and BIGEASTBigTenBaseballChallenge.com. UC follows up by taking on the Fighting Illini of Illinois on Saturday, Feb. 19, at 10 a.m. at Jack Russell Stadium in Clearwater, Fla. In its third game of the Challenge, Cincinnati plays the Michigan State Spartans. Game time for that matchup is at 1 p.m. and will also be played at Jack Russell Stadium.
