CINCINNATI - With the 2011 University of Cincinnati baseball season underway, the UCATS Diamond Club has revamped its efforts to further develop Bearcats baseball.
"The Diamond Club has become a central component in the success of our program. The support that Diamond Club members provide - both financially and otherwise - is critical," UC head coach Brian Cleary said. "Now, more than ever, the Diamond Club and the Glenn Sample Society - which supports our scholarship enhancement plan - must grow if we are to successfully pursue a BIG EAST championship."
The Diamond Club provides the financial support vital to the success of UC baseball. The monies raised through the Diamond Club supplement the program's budget in two main areas. First, the Diamond Club generates funds to help offset expenses such as team travel, recruiting, equipment, and facility improvements. Secondly, the Glenn Sample Society - the highest level of giving within the Diamond Club - provides financing that will allow the UC baseball program to meet its scholarship goals.
There are multiple donation levels within the Diamond Club, with the Glenn Sample Society being the highest. Those who join the UC Diamond Club automatically become enrolled in UCATS and will receive all of its associated benefits, which include priority seating, invitations to special events, tax deductions, and more.
