LINCOLN, Mass. - University of Cincinnati men's soccer 2011 signee Cole DeNormandie (Lincoln, Mass./Lincoln-Sudbury Regional) was named the 2010-11 Gatorade Massachusetts Boys Soccer Player of the Year by The Gatorade Company, in collaboration with ESPN RISE.

The 6-foot, 180-pound senior forward recorded 18 goals and six assists this past season for Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School, leading the Warriors (14-2-2) to the Division 1 North Sectional Quarterfinals.

DeNormandie, the first Gatorade Massachusetts Boys Soccer Player of the Year to be chosen from Lincoln-Sudbury, was also an ESPN RISE third-team all-America selection and a two-time all-America selection by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America. DeNormandie, who will join the Bearcats for the 2011 season, concluded his prep soccer career with 64 goals and 22 assists.
