CINCINNATI - The University of Cincinnati men's soccer team and head coach Hylton Dayes have announced the 2011 spring soccer schedule.
Matches against 2010 NCAA champion Akron and 2010 NCAA participants Ohio State and Butler highlight the slate, which also features the annual alumni match.
The Bearcats open in Dayton, Ohio, on April 3 with a doubleheader against Ohio State and Dayton in the Dayton Tournament. UC then travels to Xenia, Ohio, for the Athletes in Action Tournament on April 10 where they will face off with Cleveland State, Bowling Green, and Akron.
UC returns home to take on United Soccer League club Dayton Dutch Lions on April 12 at 7 p.m. before traveling to Indianapolis, Ind., on April 16 to take on Butler in the Crossroads Showcase.
Northern Kentucky visits Gettler Stadium on April 20 before the Bearcats wrap up their spring season with the annual alumni match on May 1 at 1 p.m.
