UC Falls To UofL

CINCINNATI - The University of Cincinnati women's tennis team dropped a 5-2 decision to the University of Louisville Saturday in a match played at the Western Tennis and Fitness Center.

The Bearcats claimed points at Nos. 2 and 4 singles. No. 2 Jasmine Lee was pushed to extra games in her straight-set defeat of Louisville's Rebecca Shine, 7-5, 7-6. No. 4 Caitlin O'Gara outlasted UL's Kaysara Mandry in a split-set match, coming from a set down to win 2-6, 6-3, 6-3.

UC (2-10) will next play at the West Virginia University at 2 p.m. Friday. Louisville improved to 8-5 on the season.
