Here's a look at what's coming up this week in UC sports:
- The baseball team will take on Kentucky (11-8) at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday in Lexington, Ky. The Bearcats then come home to host Toledo (5-12) at 4 p.m. Wednesday at Marge Schott Stadium before kicking off BIG EAST play in a three-game series against St. John's (8-8), Friday-Sunday in Jamaica, N.Y. Game one will be at 3 p.m. Friday followed by game two at 1 p.m. Saturday and the final game at noon Sunday. Cincinnati is 10-6 on the year.
- The women's golf team will host the UC Spring Invitational Friday-Sunday in Crystal River, Fla.
- The women's lacrosse team will host Stanford (6-0) at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Nippert Stadium. Cincinnati will then play Duquesne (4-2) at 3 p.m. Thursday in Pittsburgh, Pa., before taking on Louisville (6-0) in their first BIG EAST game of the season at 1 p.m. Sunday in Louisville, Ky. The Bearcats are 2-4 (0-0 BIG EAST) this spring.
- The women's tennis team will take on Connecticut (4-4) Tuesday in Storrs, Conn. They will then play Boston University (7-5) Wednesday in Boston, Mass. The Bearcats will take on Marquette (9-6) at 9 a.m. Sunday at the Trabert-Talbert Tennis Center. Cincinnati is 5-10 overall and 4-3 in the BIG EAST.
- The men's track team will participate in the Raleigh Relays Friday and Saturday in Raleigh, N.C.
- The women's track team will compete in the Central Florida Invitational Friday and Saturday in Orlando, Fla.

Bearcats and the Community:
- Don't forget the renewal period for both season-ticket holders and UCATS members for the 2011 football season is open through April 22, 2011 and those that take advantage of UC's online renewal system will be eligible for a drawing that includes some great prizes.
- The women's soccer team will hold a free youth clinic prior to the Toledo spring game on Friday, April 8 at Gettler Stadium. The clinic will run from 5 p.m. to 5:45 p.m. with registration slated to begin at 4:45 p.m. The clinic is open to kids aged 6-13. It will feature a variety of stations including ladder, shooting, passing, dribbling, and heading areas. Fans of all ages are encouraged to join in the event, but space is limited so participants are encouraged to arrive early and bring a ball and water bottle.
In case you missed it:
- The baseball team went 3-1 in a series against Western Michigan last weekend at Marge Schott Stadium. The Bearcats won game one last Friday, 3-2. UC split a doubleheader last Saturday, dropping a 2-1 decision to the Broncos in the first game, but winning 8-6 in game two. In the final game last Sunday, Cincinnati clinched the series with a 4-3 victory.
- The No. 6 seeded men's basketball team defeated No. 11 seed Missouri, 78-63, last Thursday in the first round of the NCAA Championship in Washington, D.C. The Bearcats advanced in the tournament, but fell 69-58 to No. 3 seed Connecticut last Saturday. Cincinnati's return to the tournament was the first in six years; the first appearance with coach Mick Cronin. The Bearcats ended the season 26-9.
- The track and field team began its 2011 outdoor season with both the men and women's teams finishing first in the team standings in the Early Bird Relays last Saturday at Gettler Stadium. The women's team had individual champions in 11 out of 19 events and totaled 148.44 points. Cincinnati dominated in the men's division as well, scoring 160 points and featuring seven individual champions in 19 events.
