BOSTON - The University of Cincinnati women's tennis team dropped a 4-3 decision at Boston University on Wednesday at the BU Track and Tennis Center.
The Bearcats (6-11) had their four-match winning streak snapped by the Terriers (9-6).
UC dropped the doubles point, with Safiyaa Ismail and Jasmine Lee topping Vanessa Steiner and Kendal Drake, 8-5.
In singles, Lee defeated Vivien Laszloffy and also got wins from Lindsey Lonergan (2-6, 6-3, 10-7 over Jessi Linero) and Ismail (6-3, 6-4 over Steiner).
The Bearcats return to action on Sunday, hosting BIG EAST foe Marquette at 9 a.m. at the Western Tennis and Fitness Club.
