LEXINGTON, Ky. - The University of Cincinnati men's golf team finished tied for 13th at the fourth annual Kentucky Bluegrass Invitational on Sunday at the Big Blue Course of the University Club of Kentucky.

The Bearcats shot rounds of 313-294-305=912 to finish in a tie for 13th with Morehead State (299-309-304=912). Auburn won the team title by eight strokes with rounds of 287-292-289=868. Host Kentucky (290-288-298=876) was second.

Senior Joe Kastelic and sophomore David Tepe each finished tied for 30th. Kastelic shot 77-71-77=225 while Tepe posted rounds of 76-73-76=225.

Freshman Spencer Mellon opened with an 80, but finished with a 74 and 75 for a 229 total and a tie for 49th place.

Dayton's Chris Woeste fired rounds of 73-73-67=213 to win medalist honors by two strokes over a trio of second-place finishers.

The Bearcats now prepare for the 2011 BIG EAST Championship on April 17-19 in Palm Harbor, Fla.
