The University of Cincinnati lacrosse team welcomes a pair of BIG EAST Conference opponents to Nippert Stadium this weekend, taking on Villanova Friday at 3 p.m. and Rutgers on Sunday at noon.

Admission to both games is free for all fans and live stats and streaming video are available live at GoBEARCATS.com.

Sunday, UC will don their pink uniforms in recognition of breast cancer awareness. The team will also celebrate youth day and welcome local youth lacrosse teams to the game and hold a postgame autograph session for the youngsters.

UC (2-9, 0-3 BIG EAST) is looking to end a five-game slide. The Bearcats are led by Katie Liberatore Laura Simanski. In eleven games, Liberatore leads the team with 18 goals, while Simanski has posted 23 points on 14 goals and nine assists. Jen Walsh has made a team-high 87 saves in 11 starts.

Senior Natalie Starvaggi is slotted to return this weekend after missing several games due to a knee injury.

  • Villanova enters with a 4-6 mark, 0-3 in BIG EAST play. The Wildcats are in the midst of a four-game losing streak. Justine Donodeo leads the squad with 28 goals, followed by Maria Bowman (14), and Ali Judge (10). Julia Todd has seen the lion's share of action in goal, going 3-4 with 41 saves.

  • Rutgers (7-4, 1-2 BIG EAST) knocked off Monmouth 19-9 on April 5 to snap a two-game losing streak. The Scarlet Knights are led offensively by Marlena Welsh Kristen Anderson. Welsh paces the squad with 32 points on a team-leading 25 goals and seven assists, including a career-high five goals against Monmouth. Anderson is close behind with 25 points on 20 goals and five assists. Lily Kalata is 5-4 in goal this season with 69 saves. Rutgers takes on Louisville Friday ahead of its matchup with the Bearcats.
