Coach Jones On What To Expect At Bearcat Bowl V | Fan Roster Card | Live Internet Stream
CINCINNATI - Bearcat Bowl V, the University of Cincinnati football team's 11th workout of the spring is scheduled to take place on Saturday, April 16, 2011 at Nippert Stadium from 5:30-7:30.
Admission is free and open to all patrons. Fans are encouraged to sit on the east side of Nippert, opposite the press box. The team will take the field around 5:30 p.m. at Nippert Stadium.
Bearcat Bowl V is available live over the internet at GoBEARCATS.com or by clicking HERE. A tape-delayed program of the event will be shown on FOX Sports Ohio on April 21 at 8 p.m. and on April 22 at 11 p.m., following the Reds postgame show.
Tom Gelehrter, Jim Kelly Jr. and Artrell Hawkins will bring you the action on GoBEARCATS.com and FOX Sports Ohio.
There will also be a special section in the South End Zone, opposite the scoreboard for fans who want to appear in the FOX Sports Ohio broadcast of the spring festivities. Fans in that section are encouraged to arrive early.
Bearcat Bowl V is only one of several events taking place on the Clifton campus on April 16.
Head Coach Butch Jones and his staff will lead the annual free youth football clinic for players up to eighth grade, which will take place on the Nippert turf at 2:30 p.m. Registration begins at 2 p.m. Following the clinic, selected student-athletes from the football team will be on hand to sign autographs.
The Bearcats Family Zone on Sheakley Lawn will be open from 4:30-5:30 p.m. The Family Zone will feature many of the activities normally seen on a regular football game day such as inflatable games, cornhole, KIDS CLUB coloring contest, face painting and a opportunity to meet the 2009 Capital One Mascot of the Year, BEARCAT.
