CINCINNATI - University of Cincinnati junior middle blocker Jordanne Scott (Indianapolis, Ind., Lawrence North) has been named a COBRA Magazine second-team all-preseason selection, the magazine announced.

Scott, who was named to last year's COBRA all-national second team, finished her sophomore season first on the team in attack percentage (.333), second in kills per set (2.84) and third in blocks per set (.70). She played in all 36 matches and earned a spot on the American Volleyball Coaches Association all-region team and all-BIG EAST first team.

COBRA Magazine celebrates the success of African-American volleyball players in hopes of showing young black girls that they have opportunities to thrive in the sport despite cultural differences and economic disadvantages.
