The University of Cincinnati Bearcats Caravan stopped by the Ault Park "Dances in the Park" on Thursday July 21. Guests danced to music provided by The Modulators. All profits from the event went to Ault Park to maintain its unique and historic character. The UC marketing team answered questions about UC athletics, provided Bearcats giveaways, interacted with fans, and implemented the UC business card drop raffle.
"We appreciate the fans that braved the heat to join us at the event. There were numerous young Bearcats fans out having a good time last night. Even better, they were showing off their Bearcat pride with some tattoos!", says Ronnie Semro with UC Athletics marketing. Check the photo gallery for additional pictures.
Fans had the opportunity to register for the UC business card drop raffle, for an opportunity to win free UC Athletics Tickets. Congratulations to Steve Schmidt (Morrow, OH) who won two tickets to the football season opener against Austin Peay held at Nippert Stadium on Saturday, September 3rd. Anyone who registered for the raffle contest received a UC light switch cover. For more information on future Ault Park "Dances in the Park" click here.
The Bearcats Caravan will make its next stop at The Cincinnati Zoo, for their "Visitor Appreciation Day" on August 6, 2011. As a "Thank You" Zoo visitors of all ages can enjoy half price admission and parking for the entire day.
The UC athletics marketing team will be on site from 10am-2pm to answer any questions about UC athletics and spread some Bearcats cheer!
