Caravan Visits Northwest Health and Safety Fair

The University of Cincinnati Department of Athletics Bearcats Caravan was in attendance at the Northwest School Health and Safety Fair on August 10th. The event was held from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at the Northwest High School cafeteria. Students and parents attended the event to receive information about how they can stay healthy during the upcoming school year by meeting with doctors and dentists from the area. They could also pick up their school supplies to be prepared for the start of school.

The Bearcat Caravan team was on hand to distribute promotional materials such as football schedule cards/posters, Kids Club flyers, light switch covers and tattoos to parents and students in attendance. UC Marketing also answered any questions about University of Cincinnati athletics.

Congratulations to Becky Gibson for winning two free tickets to the season opener against Austin Peay Saturday, September 3rd, through the UC business card drop raffle. Anyone who registered for the raffle also received a UC hand bag. The UC marketing table was once again an exciting attraction as the fall sport season nears.
