STATE COLLEGE, Pa. - The University of Cincinnati women's golf team jumped up four places after the second round of action at the Penn State Nittany Lion Invitational on Saturday at Penn State's Blue Course.

After finishing the first round in a tie for 10th, the Bearcats jumped to sixth with a seound-round 305 total. UC's 316-305=621 is two shots better than Western Michigan (314-309=623) and Georgetown (311-312=623), who are tied for seventh.

Alex Carl continued her consistent play with a second-round 76 for a total of 77-76=153, good for a tie for 22nd. Mackenzie Moir and Maria Roos also carded second-round scores of 76, while Olivia Dose shot 77 to round out UC's scoring.

Dose currently sits in a tie for 35th, while Andrea Malek (78-79=157) is tied for 38th and Moir tied for 42nd.

Longwood's Ariel Witmer leads the individual chase with rounds of 71-73=144.

The third and final round will tee off Sunday morning at 8 a.m.
