CINCINNATI - University of Cincinnati men's basketball head coach Mick Cronin, senior forward Yancy Gates, and sophomore forward Justin Jackson joined the UC Bearcat Caravan last night at Salem Gardens in Anderson.
The event was standing room only with a restaurant packed with UC Basketball fans. The event took place from 6-8 p.m. at the historic family-friendly restaurant where Bearcat fans heard Coach Cronin speak about this upcoming 2011-12 season, participated in a Q & A session, followed by an autograph session with Yancy Gates and Justin Jackson. Fans also had the opportunity to have their picture taken with the sixth-year head coach and the players. Several fans won prizes from the Bearcat Business Card Sweepstakes which included tickets to a men's basketball game, passes to the Cincinnati Zoo and two adidas Bearcats prize packs.
