The Bearcats of Cincinnati have traveled to Tampa to face the University of South Florida Bulls Sunday at 2 p.m.
The team is led on the year by senior Missy Harpenau, sophomore Emily Macintyre and freshman Caylin Mahoney. Harpenau averages 3.45 kills per set and 0.35 aces per set, both numbers leading the team. MacIntyre leads the back row with 4.00 digs per set in her second season as the starting libero. Mahoney has handled her starting setter role well in her young career. She sits second in the BIG EAST for assists per set with 10.70 and has been honored by the BIG EAST by being named Freshman of the Week two weeks so far.
At the net, junior Becca Refenes leads the team with 1.09 blocks per set. Fellow junior Emily Hayden has proven to be the team's most consistent hitter with a .279 hitting percentage. Junior Jordanne Scott has also had a solid season so far with 3.07 kills per set and 0.89 blocks per set. Both numbers put her second in those respective categories.
USF is led by Valerie El Houssine who averages 3.51 kills per set and Andrea Rodriguez-Gomez who puts up 1.36 blocks per set. The first serve is set for 2:00 p.m. Fans can follow live stats at the links above.
