He recorded his 15th career double-double with 18 points, 11 rebounds. His 15 career double-doubles are second most by a current BIG EAST player (Herb Pope, Seton Hall, 23). Gates has scored in double figures in 12 of his last 13 games (Providence, 21 points, 2/19/11).
- Freshman Ge'Lawn Guyn scored a career-best 10 points, his first career double-digit scoring contest.
- Dion Dixon scored 12 points and matched career highs with eight free throws made and 10 free throw attempts.
- Sean Kilpatrick tallied 13 points and eight rebounds.
- Justin Jackson tied a career high with three blocked shots. He has 11 blocks through the first four games of the season (2.75 per game).
