Football Set To Be Honored at Halftime of Men's Game Saturday

CINCINNATI - The University of Cincinnati football team and Head Coach Butch Jones will be honored for their BIG EAST Championship and AutoZone Liberty Bowl victory at halftime of the Men's Basketball game on Saturday afternoon.

Fans planning to attend the game are reminded to WEAR RED for the annual Ring of Red game.

The Department of Athletics is encouraging all fans to come to the game early so that they can take family pictures with the five trophies the Bearcats won during the 2011 season (Victory Bell, Keg of Nails, River City Rivalry, BIG EAST Championship and AutoZone Liberty Bowl Championship).

All trophies will be displayed in the northeast corner of the arena on the main level from the time gates open until 11:30am (4th floor). Student-athletes from the football team will also be signing autographs from 10:45 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. in the same location. Please make sure to bring your cameras to the arena to take some great pictures.
