LEXINGTON, Ky. - The University of Cincinnati men's and women's swimming and diving teams are set for a dual meet against University of Kentucky at 10 a.m. Saturday at Lancaster Aquatic Center.

Cincinnati is coming off second and third-place finishes at the Oakland University Quad Meet last weekend in Rochester, Mich. The UC women placed second after scoring 563 points, good for second behind Oakland's 625. The Cincinnati men finished third with 287.5 points, trailing Oakland's 673 and Kenyon College's 456.5 points.

UC senior Liz Hansson (Lund, Sweden/School of St. Petri) recorded two first-place finishes in the 100 and 200-yard backstrokes, while freshman Helena Pikhartova (Prague, Czech Republic/Gymnazium Jana Nerudy) placed first in the 100-yard breaststroke.

In the men's division, freshman diver Ryan Slavik placed first in the one-meter and the three-meter dives. Slavik will have tough competition from UK diver Greg Ferrucci, who was named the Southeastern Conference Male Diver of the Week on Monday, the third time he's won the honor during the 2011-12 season.

The Wildcats, who are coming off a dual-meet loss at Alabama on Friday and a dual-meet win vs. Emory on Saturday, have extra incentive to win as they celebrate Senior Day festivities.

Last season the Bearcats lost a dual meet to UK on Jan. 29, 2011 at Keating Aquatics Center. The UC men fell 206-75 and the Cincinnati women lost 176.5-107.5.

Live results of Saturday's meet will be posted on UKAthletics.com.
