DADE CITY, Fla. - University of Cincinnati junior David Tepe shot a 6-over par 78 Monday to slip into a tie for 57th place at 74-78=152 after the second round of the USF Invitational at Lake Jovita Golf and Country Club.

Tepe (Liberty Township, Ohio/Lakota East) is tied with two other players and is 15 shots behind tournament leader Justin Dorward from Louisville, who carded at 7-under par 137.

Central Florida leads the tournament with a 7-under 284-285=569 team score. UC finished day two with a 312-310=622 score.

The Bearcats' final-round action begins Tuesday at 9:40 a.m. ET.

Junior Andrew Desmarais (Union, Ky./Ryle) earned Cincinnati's best round of the day with a 4-over par 76. With a 80-76=156, Desmarais and freshman Jared Howard (Dublin, Ohio/Jerome) at 78-78=156 are both tied for 71st place. Freshman Michael Wolf (Cincinnati, Ohio/Moeller) is tied for 84th place at 80-78=158. Junior Matt Ledom (Rockhurst Jesuit Prep) is 90th at 92-98=190.
