CINCINNATI - The University of Cincinnati football team was back on the practice field Saturday, moving outside under sunny skies inside Nippert Stadium.

The Bearcats, working through their fourth of 15 spring practices, were in full pads starting off practice with the circle of life drill once again. The drill pits an offensive and defensive player against each other in 1-on-1 hitting situations.

Practice then moved into special teams work, individual drills and various team periods, before moving into situational scrimmage periods with referees to close out the day.

The coaching staff welcomed members of the Southwest Ohio Football Coaches Association to campus for the annual SWOFCA Clinic. Head Coach Butch Jones served as the event's keynote speaker on Saturday.

UC will be off for the next two weeks with finals and spring break on the horizon. The Bearcats return to the practice field for the second segment of spring football during the week of March 26.

Bearcat Bowl VI is set for Saturday, April 14, 2012 inside Nippert Stadium.
