ORLANDO, Fla. - The University of Cincinnati women's golf team will play a head to head match with the University of South Florida Bulls on Wednesday, Mar. 21, at the Bearcats and Bulls Challenge.
The event will take place at the Reunion Resort on the Watson Course, which was designed by golf legend Tom Watson. The par 72 course was ranked 10th in Golf Digest's America's Best New Resort Courses when it opened in 2005.
The Bearcats last match was played from Mar. 16 to Mar. 18 at the Clover Cup where they finished 12th. UC's best finish came during the fall campaign when the Bearcats won the University of Dayton Invitational.
Andrea Malek leads the Bearcats this season, averaging 77.1 strokes per round with a low of 67 in a second-place finish at the FIU/Pat Bradley Invitational. Olivia Dose is just behind her, averaging 77.2 strokes per round with a low of 71 in a first-place finish at the UD Invitational.
For the Bulls, their last match was played from Mar. 16 to Mar. 18 at the Lady Gator Invitational where they finished tied for sixth-place. They were led by Christina Miller who finished tied for second-place with a low of 69.
