ORLANDO, Fla. - The University of Cincinnati women's golf team fell to USF at the Bearcats and Bulls Challenge on Wednesday at the Reunion Resort.
USF posted rounds of 299-306=605 to top UC's 316-315=631 over 36 holes on the Watson-designed course.
Andrea Malek fired rounds of 74-78=152 to lead the Bearcats. Olivia Dose was three shots behind at 74-81=155. Alex Carl (87-74=161), Mackenzie Moir (164), and Maria Roos (87-82=169) rounded out the scoring for UC.
The Bearcats play host to the UC Spring Invitational on March 23-25 at the Plantation Inn Golf Resort and Spa in Crystal River, Fla.
The Bearcats and Bulls Challenge was added as a competition replacement for UC's rained-out Penn State Invitational in the fall.
