CRYSTAL RIVER, Fla. - The University of Cincinnati women's golf team finished in a tie for ninth place at the UC Spring Invitational on Sunday afternoon at The Plantation Inn Golf Resort and Spa.

Andrea Malek led UC, tying for 18th place with rounds of 74-81-74=229. Alex Carl (79-80-74=233) and Maria Roos (79-74-80=233) tied for 32nd place, while Mackenzie Moir carded rounds of 83-88-84=255 to finish tied for 87th.

Olivia Dose, who withdrew from the first round with injury, shot identical rounds of 79 over the final 36 holes.

The Bearcats tied with BIG EAST foe Seton Hall (307-320-309=936) for ninth with rounds of 315-314-307=936. Florida International led start to finish, posting rounds of 290-294-294=878 to finish 24 shots ahead of second-place Stetson (299-306-297=902).

Shelby Coyle and Katie Mundy of Florida International finished first and third, respectively, posting rounds of 69-72-72=213 and 73-73-72=218. Mallory Viera from Stetson was second with rounds of 73-73-71=217.

The Bearcats will play at the Marsh Landing Invitational on April 1-3 in Ponte Vedre, Fla.
