CINCINNATI - If pizza, pong balls, and plastic cups filled with electrolytes sounds like an evening of fun, join the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee at its annual Gatorade Pong Tournament, Thursday, April 12, in the Armory Field House, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. All proceeds will be donated to Mothers Against Drunk Driving.
Fifteen dollars guarantees at least one game of Gatorade Pong, a food and drink ticket, chips, and a raffle ticket. First place wins a grand prize of $500, second place wins $250, and third place wins $150. Raffle prizes include an Xbox 360 console plus Kinect, Beats by Dre headphones, gift cards to local restaurants, UC gear, a handmade UC coffee table and tailgating table.
Online registration is available at Gatoradepong.com, and ends Tuesday April 10. In-Person registration will also be held in the Rec Center breezeway, April 2, 4, 6, and 9, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Registration at the door is available for $20 until 5:45 p.m. the day of the event.
Bearcast Radio is emceeing the event with a selection of DJs, so after each made toss you can do a victory dance to some tunes.
