Bell led the way for the Bearcats, while Laura Simanski (Reisterstown, Md./Roland Park) was the other multi-goal scorer with two.

UConn pulled out to a 2-0 lead to start the game before taking a 6-1 advantage with 14:46 to go in the first half. Cincinnati kept it close as Bell scored her second of the afternoon, while Kylie Ramsland (Catonsville, Md./Chapelgate Christian Academy) tacked on one more to head into the break down, 6-4.

The Huskies scored a quick two in the first minute to start the second half, but Bell responded with two more of her own to keep it a two goal game, 8-6, with 23:51 on the clock. The next 20 minutes were all UConn, as the Huskies went on an eight-goal run to put the game away, 16-6, with 4:42 left. Simanski netted two-consecutive goals within a 30-second span, but it wasn't enough as the Huskies held on for the victory.

Cincinnati returns home to face No. 2 Syracuse on Sunday, April 22 at 12 p.m. All nine seniors will be honored in a postgame ceremony.
