ORLANDO, Fla. - University of Cincinnati freshman Jared Howard (Dublin, Ohio/Jerome) finished tied for 42nd place at 72-76-82=230 in the final round of the BIG EAST Championship on Tuesday at Reunion Resort (par 72, 7.089 yards).

The Bearcats top finisher throughout the tournament, Howard struggled in the final round with a 10-over par 82. Max Scodro of Notre Dame (69-68-73=210) finished one stroke ahead of Louisville's Justin Dorward (67-72-72=211) to capture medalist honors.

The Bearcats end their season in 12th place with a 313-305-309=927 score. With four top 10 finishers, Notre Dame earned the team trophy at 12-below par 284-282-282=852.

UC junior David Tepe (Liberty Township, Ohio/Lakota East) moved up four spots to finish tied for 45th at 79-76-76=231. Junior Andrew Desmarias (Union, Ky./Ryle) posted the Bearcats' top round of the day at 1-over par 73 to finish in 50th place at 81-80-73=234. Freshman Michael Wolf (Cincinnati, Ohio/Moeller) shot an 81-76-80=237 for 53rd place. Freshman Mike Irwin (Cincinnati, Ohio/Moeller) wrapped up the season in a two-way tie for 55th place at 84-77-80=241.
