OREGONIA, Ohio -- The University of Cincinnati women's soccer team took a retreat to the Little Miami River on Wednesday in effort to break up the monotony of training camp.

The Bearcats arrived at Morgan's Canoe and Outdoor Center in the morning and spent the day canoeing the 6-mile Ft. Ancient/Morrow path down the Little Miami.

The team was accompanied by Rob Bell, a certified consultant of the Association of Applied Sport Psychology and author of the book "Mental Toughness Training for Golf."

Bell put the team through multiple team-bonding exercises and spoke on the importance of having a positive attitude.

Cincinnati resumed training Thursday afternoon and held a watch party for the U.S.A. vs. Japan women's soccer Olympic gold medal match.
