TicketsCINCINNATI- The University of Cincinnati Department of Athletics encourages ladies to RSVP for the Third Annual Basketball 101 to be held Wednesday, October 3 from 6-9 p.m. in Fifth Third Arena. Fans have a unique opportunity to receive a behind the scenes look of Bearcats Athletics and to meet UC head coaches Mick Croninand Jamelle Elliott. "It's a great opportunity for those who participate to learn more about the game and get an inside look at our programs," said men's head coach Mick Cronin. "Last year was a great success and we're looking forward to hosting the event again this year." The event, presented by Lebanon Ford, will include dinner, happy hour, on- and off-court basketball instruction with both the men's and women's basketball programs, a gift bag and a group photo with the coaches...and of course lots of fun! Other sponsors are Lora Dona and Trauth Dairy. "We are excited to be hosting our 3rd annual Basketball 101," said Elliott. "What a great way for the ladies attending to learn more about the day to day operations of both men's and women's basketball and the opportunity to meet, spend time and get to know our players and staff. We are looking forward to the skill development, interactions, and overall enjoyment of everything we have planned that will support a great cause."
