Setting the Scene:
• UC opens its final homestand of the season Friday with a 7 p.m. matchup versus No. 11 Georgetown at Gettler Stadium. The Bearcats then will face off against Villanova beginning 2 p.m. Sunday.
• After falling to Big Ten Conference foe Nebraska on Sept. 2, UC lost two matches at the Denver Invitational, all three by scores of 2-1, to UC-Irvine (Sept. 7) and Colorado (Sept. 9).
• Sophomore goalkeeper Kristina Utley recorded a career-high 12 saves vs. Colorado. An own goal was the deciding point in the match versus the Buffaloes.
• Sophomore MF Megan Cravenor and junior F Jazmine Rhodes were named to the Denver Invite All- Tournament team after both totaled one goal in the two-match event.
• Cincinnati fell to DePaul 1-0 in its conference opener Sept. 14 before losing at Notre Dame 7-0 Sept. 16.
• Freshman forward Laura Rose scored the winning goal with 2 second remaining in double overtime in a 1-0 UC triumph over St. John's on Sept. 21. After defeating St. John's, the Bearcats are in the midst of a three-match losing streak after losing to Syracuse 1-0 (Sept. 23) and dropping road matches at USF 4-1 (Sept. 28) and at No. 19 Marquette 5-0 (Sept. 30).

Series Histories:
• Cincinnati is 1-6-0 all time against Georgetown University. The Bearcats and Hoyas last matched up on Oct. 7, 2011 in Washington, D.C. with GU winning 2-1.
• The Bearcats are 2-5-1 against Villanova with the last meeting occuring Oct. 9, 2011 when VU topped Cincinnati 1-0.

Greer, Rose Earn BIG EAST Honors:
• Junior midfielder Katie Greer was named to the BIG EAST Conference Honor Roll on Aug. 27 for her performance against Northeastern Aug. 26. Greer produced her first-career goal, a game-winner with 1:13 left in double overtime that lifted the Bearcats to a 2-1 win.
• Greer is the second Bearcat to earn conference accolades in 2012 after freshman forward Laura Rose was named the BIG EAST Conference Rookie of the Week on Aug. 20.
• Rose scored her first collegiate goal in UC's season opener at Elon on Aug. 17. She turned around two days later and scored a pair of goals at N.C. State to lead the Bearcats to a 3-1 win.

Bearcats in the Top 10:
• Sophomore goalkeeper Kristina Utley leads the conference in saves (83) and saves per match (6.38).
• Jazmine Rhodes (3.64) and Laura Rose (3.36) rank third and ninth, respectively, in shots per match.
• Rose is 10th in points per game (1.00) and ninth in goals per game (0.45).
