CINCINNATI - The University of Cincinnati men's golf team concludes its fall season at the three-day Cabo Intercollegiate beginning Sunday in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.

The third-annual event held at Golf Digest's top-ranked course in Mexico, Querencia Golf Club, is a par-72 course covering 7,070 yards. The event will include a 12-team field with four squads ranked in the Top 50, including No. 20 Florida State, No. 25 St. Mary's, No. 32 Kentucky and No. 47 Ole Miss. The tournament is hosted by Santa Clara University.

The Bearcats are coming off a ninth-place finish at last week's Bearcat Invitational at Traditions Golf Club in Hebron, Ky. Freshman Emerson Newsome (Hoschton, Ga./Mill Creek) led all Bearcats at the tournament, finishing 17th overall with a 4-over par 220.He leads the squad with a 74.3 stroke average through four tournaments.

Newsome will be joined in Mexico by teammates David Tepe (Liberty Township, Ohio/Lakota East), Blake Hamilton (Union, Ky./Ryle), Andrew Desmarais (Union, Ky./Ryle), and Jared Howard (Dublin, Ohio/Jerome).

The 54-hole tournament begins at 12 p.m. ET on Sunday and Monday with the final round on Tuesday starting at 11 a.m. ET.
