CINCINNATI - University of Cincinnati junior guard Sean Kilpatrick has been named to the BIG EAST Conference weekly honor roll after averaging 18.5 points and 6.5 rebounds in a pair of Bearcats' victories last week.

The Yonkers, N.Y., native scored a game-high 25 points with seven rebounds and four steals in Cincinnati's 60-45 win over Xavier in the Skyline Chili Crosstown Classic on Dec. 19. He tallied 12 points with six rebounds and four assists in the Bearcats' 68-58 win over Wright State on Dec. 22.

The honor roll selection is Kilpatrick's third this season and the fourth time the BIG EAST has recognized Kilpatrick's play. Kilpatrick also earned honor roll distinction on Nov. 19 and Dec. 10. He was tabbed the league's player of the week on Nov. 26.

Kilpatrick has scored in double figures in all 12 games this season and has recorded 20 or more points in five contests.

The Naismith and John R. Wooden Award watch list nominee enters this week ranked fourth in the BIG EAST Conference in scoring (19.2 points per game), second in three-pointers per game (2.7) and tied for 15th in rebounding (6.3 rebounds per game).

A native of Yonkers, N.Y., Kilpatrick was named a first team All-BIG EAST selection by the league's coaches in the preseason.
