CINCINNATI - The University of Cincinnati women's basketball team will host the final regular season home game of the season Saturday as the Bearcats face off with Rutgers for the second time this year. The game is set for a 5 p.m. tipoff, following the conclusion of the men's basketball contest.

Both teams enter following wins with UC defeating Providence (64-45) and Rutgers knocking off South Florida (68-56).

THE SERIES: Rutgers' win over Cincinnati earlier this season moved the Scarlet Knights' edge in the overall series to 9-0. Rutgers has been the winner of five on the road, three in Cincinnati and one on a neutral court. Rutgers defeated UC 55-46 earlier this season. The squads have faced off every year since Cincinnati joined the BIG EAST.

LAST TIME OUT: Cincinnati picked up its second-straight BIG EAST win as the Bearcats defeated Providence 64-45. Junior Dayeesha Hollins (Cincinnati, Ohio/Winton Woods/Michigan) , junior Tiffany Turner (Marlton, N.J./Cherokee) and junior Kayla Cook (South Webster, Ohio/South Webster) each scored in double digits for Cincinnati, marking the second consecutive game three players have accomplished the feat. Hollins' 17 points led all scorers while Turner added 12 points and Cook contributed 10.

SCOUTING THE SCARLET KNIGHTS: Rutgers earned head coach C. Vivian Stringer her 900th career win as the Scarlet Knights defeated South Florida 68-56. The win snapped a four-game skid for Rutgers. In the contest, senior Erica Wheeler scored 24 points while Betnijah Laney added 20.

Rutgers is led in scoring by Monique Oliver, who totals 10.5 points per game. Wheeler and Betnijah Laney add 9.7 and 9.2 points respectively. Oliver and Chelsey Lee each pull down 5.2 rebounds per game.
