Final Results

CINCINNATI - The University of Cincinnati women's golf team finished its final round at the Web.com Intercollegiate on Tues., April 9 at the Marsh Landing Country Club in Jacksonville, Fla. The Bearcats improved one spot in the final standings to finish in 18th place after firing a 305-311-302=918.

Cincinnati improved its score by nine strokes after round two to top nine teams on the final round's standings. The Bearcats' total score of 302 was 54-over par.

Olivia Dose (Goteborg Sweden/Goteborg Hogre Samksola) paced the Bearcats with a 73-77-73=223. The junior shot 7-over par to finish in a tie for 31st place out of 104 competitors.

Senior Maria Roos (Uppsala, Sweden/Mississippi State) placed second for UC, climbing six spots to finish in a tie for 70th with a score of 80-76-76=232. Senior Alex Carl (Union, Ky./Notre Dame Academy) and sophomore Mackenzie Moir (Louisville, Ky./Sacred Heart Academy) each finished tied for 77th in the tournament with 234 strokes (78-80-86=234 and 78-78-78=234, respectively). Freshman Stefanie Mitchell rounded out the Bearcats' contingent, shooting 76-82-77=235 to tie for 80th place.

Purdue University, ranked No. 14 in the GolfWeek national rankings, finished the Web.com Invitational with a 290-284-283=857. The team shot 7-under, the only team to post a sub-par score. No. 28 Iowa State (289-290-286=865), No. 17 Texas Tech (293-287-289=869), No. 47 Florida State (292-298-296=886) and No. 41 UCF (297-297-293=887) rounded out the top-5 teams.

Cincinnati topped Jacksonville University and Charleston Southern in the standings. The Bearcats beat Jacksonville by one stroke and Charleston Southern by 26 strokes.

Texas Tech's Gabriella Dominguez (69-70-73=212) and Purdue's Paula Reto (71-71-70=212) tied atop the individual leaderboard with 4-under par.

The Bearcats wrapped up the regular season on Tuesday and will next be in action April 21-23 at the BIG EAST Championship in Orlando, Fla.
