Team USA improved to 3-0 with an 83-65 win in Pool C competition at the World University Games in Kazan, Russia. University of Cincinnati senior guard Sean Kilpatrick contributed a point and two rebounds in 15 minutes of play.
USA (3-0) was led in scoring by Indiana's Yogi Ferrell who scored a game-high 20 points on 6-of-13 shooting with four three-pointers. VCU's Treveon Graham added 14 points and seven rebounds. Baylor's Cory Jefferson had eight points and a game-high 10 rebounds.
Sweden (0-3) led 27-26 with 4:24 left in the second period before the U.S. went on an 11-0 run to lead 37-27 at intermission. USA outrebounded Sweden 47-34.
