CINCINNATI - Madi Lang (Commerce Township, Mich./Florida Atlantic) was named to the American Athletic Conference honor roll on Monday for her efforts in a 1-1 week for the University of Cincinnati volleyball team. The Bearcats played two matches against teams tied for second in the conference standings, beating USF 3-2 on Friday and narrowly losing to UCF 3-2 on Sunday.

The junior setter played a big part in both matches, setting two career highs and recording two double-double performances over the weekend.

Lang dished out a career-best 42 assists in the match against USF while also tallying 11 digs for her third double-double of the season. She added five kills, two blocks and a .417 hitting percentage to lead the Bearcats to the victory.

Against UCF, Lang finished with a career-high 10 kills in 19 attempts for a .421 hitting percentage. She offered up 36 assists with five digs and two blocks for her second double-double in two matches.

In both matches, Lang averaged 7.80 assists per set, 1.60 digs per set, 1.50 kills per set and 0.40 blocks per set for the Bearcats.

This is Lang's first-career conference honor.
