Taylor Young's four goals in a 14-5 victory over Detroit have earned her a spot on the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll.

Young (Cincinnati, Ohio/Sycamore) scored on all four shots she took against the Titans. The senior also picked-up a pair of ground balls and caused a turnover as the Bearcats ran their winning streak to five games. Young has now registered 12 goals on the season, while starting all nine games.

"We're so excited for Taylor," said head coach Gina Oliver. "She deserves this award and I'm happy she's finally getting recognition and stepping up for us. She plays a crucial role in our team's success and I hope she continues to play the way she's playing."

Young becomes the fifth Bearcat to earn a weekly honor from the BIG EAST this season. Kelsey Conway (Laurel, Md./Our Lady of Good Counsel) and Courtney Curtis (Mason, Ohio/William Mason) were both on last week's honor roll, while Megan Bell (Parkton, Md./Hereford) was named Offensive Player of the Week on Feb. 25 and Meg Gulmi (Syosset, N.Y./Syosset) earned the nod as Defensive Player of the Week on March 11.

Cincinnati takes its five-game streak to Milwaukee, Wis., on Friday, March 28, to open BIG EAST play versus Marquette. Opening draw is set for 7:00 p.m. ET. The Bearcats return home for the final non-conference game on the schedule Sunday, March 30, when they host Oregon for a Noon game at Gettler Stadium.
