The University of Cincinnati men's soccer team dropped a 3-0 decision on Saturday night as they fell to crosstown rival Xavier. The loss drops them to 0-3-2 on the year with another road match coming on Wednesday, Sept. 17.

Xavier was granted a corner kick late in the first half, and it initially was headed by Will Walker. His header would float near the goal before Halfhill speared it home with his head.

XU stole a pass from the Bearcats around midfield and connected up to Walker near the 18-yard box. The midfielder turned a struck the ball inside the far post from 15 yards out.
