CINCINNATI - Four Bearcats reached the finals in their respective flights during the first day of the Bowling Green State Invitational held on the campus of BGSU and at Bowling Green High School.
Katya Bure (Springfield, N.J./Jonathan Dayton), Lauren Bellinger (Dublin, Ohio/Dublin Jerome), Ali Miller (Portsmouth, Ohio/Portsmouth) and Hannah Wille (St. Louis, Mo./Parkway Central) all had strong performances Friday, advancing to the championship match in their flight. Overall the Bearcats went 9-4 during Friday's singles action and 1-2 during doubles play.
Tournament action will conclude Saturday, Sept. 20.
