Full Collegiate Baseball Release
CINCINNATI - The University of Cincinnati baseball team is receiving national attention for its 2014 recruits. The talented class has been listed as one of the top recruiting classes in the nation by Collegiate Baseball, a national collegiate baseball newspaper.
The online newspaper ranks the top-40 recruiting classes for the 2015 season and also names 76 teams as "Other Top Recruiting Classes," a category in which Cincinnati ranks 46th of 302 total NCAA Division I baseball teams.
The Bearcats will enter the season with the third best recruiting class in the American Athletic Conference, trailing only Houston (ranked No. 33) and UCF. Cincinnati ranks ahead of UConn, Tulane, USF and East Carolina, which are also listed as other top recruiting classes.
The Bearcats are in the midst of fall practices which will culminate in the annual Red/Black World Series. More information on the series will be announced at a later date.
