Men's Program Impresses at Greater Louisville Classic

The University of Cincinnati men's cross country program had a strong showing against some of the top competition in the country by finishing 10^th at the Greater Louisville Classic on Saturday morning in Louisville, Kentucky. The women finished 31st overall.

The men had an exceptional race as they took 10^th out of 28 teams and defeated four teams that are currently earning a regional ranking (No. 6 Illinois in Midwest; No. 8 Lipscomb in South; No. 11 Georgia in South; No. 12 Tennessee in South).

Sophomore Toby Loveridge led the men's squad placing 44^th out of 250 runners with a time of 24:55.84. Senior Kevin Fink finished on his heels with a time of 25:01.18 to claim 53^rd. Dan Huben (93^rd) and Ian Silver (98^th) also crossed the line within the top 100.

The women's team finished 31^st overall with senior Ashley Earman leading the way with a time of 18:47.90 to earn 153^rd out of 300 runners.

The Bearcats take the next two weeks off before returning to action at the Pre-Nationals Invitational in Terre Haute, Indiana on Saturday, Oct. 18.
