A handful of University of Cincinnati cross country runners had a strong showing at the Pre-Nationals Invitational this afternoon in Terre Haute, Indiana.

Senior Kevin Fink paced the men's program, which finished 12th out of 28 teams, with an 11th-place finish in a time of 25:20.4. Greg Sanders and Anthony Car were the next two to cross the line for UC as they finished about a minute later than Fink.

Sophomore Toby Loveridge, who was the Bearcats' top runner two weeks ago at the Greater Louisville Invitational, began the 8k race but did not finish.

Seniors Ashley Earman and Lauren Goodwin led the women's team in their first 6k race of the season with a time of Earman running a time of 23:57.2 and Goodwin finishing at 24:25.8.

Pre-Nationals was the Bearcats' final "regular season" meet of the year with the American Athletic Conference Championships just 13 days away in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
