The result marks O'Toole's best finish of the fall season and signifies his third top-10 finish in the last nine tournaments dating back to the 2014 spring season.
O'Toole tied for seventh place with Western Carolina's J.T. Poston (1-over 74-71-72=217). Fredrik Nilehn of tournament host Kennesaw State won the event at 14-under 64-70-68=202, leading wire to wire. // Team Standings Cincinnati struggled on the tournament's final day, finishing ninth in the team standings at 43-over 295-301-311=907. Kennesaw State claimed the team title, posting a 19-under 276-281-288=845. // Other Bearcat Scorers UC senior Jared Howard (Dublin, Ohio/Jerome High School) recorded his third consecutive top-25 tournament finish, tying for 23rd place at 11-over 76-73-78=227. Fellow senior Baxter Reeves (Montgomery, Ala./Brewbaker Tech/Central Alabama CC) registered a 74-79-77=230 to tie for 30th place. Junior Emerson Newsome (Dacula, Ga./Mill Creek High School) and freshman Davis Baxter (Nolensville, Tenn./Ravenwood High School) both tied for 45th place at 20-over. Newsome finished at 76-79-81=236 while Baxter ended the event at 78-76-82=236. Bearcats freshman Scot Sapp (Pickerington, Ohio/Pickerington High School), who was playing the event unattached from the team scorers, completed the tournament in 61st place at 29-over 85-84-76=245. // Up Next The Bearcats wrap up the fall season Oct. 26-28 at the Intercollegiate at the Grove in Murfreesboro, Tennessee.
