Huber is from Edgewood, Kentucky and currently attends Covington Catholic. Among his accomplishments, Huber posted back-to-back Top 10 finishes at the Kentucky High School Athletic Association State Championship in 2013 and 2014. He tied for eighth place in this year's event after taking ninth place a year ago. Huber also won the Northern Kentucky Amateur Championship as a 16-year old in July.
Moreland attends Memphis University School in Memphis, Tennessee. He won medalist honors at the Tennessee Secondary Schools Athletic Association State Championship in 2013 and finished fifth at the event in 2014, helping lead his squad to back-to-back state titles.
Squires is from Union, Kentucky and attends Ryle High School. He tied for third at the American Junior Golf Association sponsored Under Armour/Scott Stallings Championship in July in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. Prior to Huber's win, Squires was the first 16-year old to win the Northern Kentucky Amateur Championship when he accomplished the feat in 2013. He also helped lead Ryle to a fourth-place finish at the 2013 the Kentucky High School Athletic Association State Championship, tying for 35th place.
"One of the things that excites me about this class is the amount of junior golf experience coming to our program," Martin said. "All three have had success at the highest levels of junior golf and all three have the ability to shoot low scores for us. They all have played in great golf programs in high school and will bring a winning attitude to Cincinnati."
CINCINNATI - Head men's golf coach Doug Martin has announced the signing of Paul Huber, Hays Moreland and Austin Squires, who will attend the University of Cincinnati and play golf for the Bearcats beginning with the 2015-16 season.
