CINCINNATI - The University of Cincinnati men's basketball American Athletic Conference opener against SMU on Jan. 3 at Fifth Third Arena will tip at 11 a.m. ET on ESPN2 the league office announced on Wednesday.
The two squads split a pair of meetings last season with the Bearcats claiming a 65-57 win on Jan. 1 in Cincinnati and the Mustangs earning a 76-55 victory on Feb. 8 in Dallas.
Cincinnati won a share of the 2013-14 conference regular-season title with Louisville, posting a 15-3 league mark.
