HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, KY. - The University of Cincinnati women's basketball team dropped a 66-52 contest across the river to NKU Wednesday evening in non-conference action.

// KEY RUNS:
- After hitting three-straight three-pointers, NKU went cold from floor, missing their next eight shots. The Bearcats were unable to capitalize on the drought, adding just four points during the nearly five minute span. NKU ended the drought with a three that put them back up 21-20 with 8:04 left in the first half.
- The Norse put together an 8-0 scoring run at the close of the first half thanks to six-straight misses from the Bearcats. UC ended the run with a Marley Hill free throw, also adding a layup as time expired to account for the 32-26 halftime score.
- NKU pushed the lead to double digits, 41-31, for the first time with a 9-0 run that lasted two minutes and 28 seconds. UC put an end to the run thanks to a jumper from Owens.
- Cincinnati scored the first five points of the second half, cutting the NKU lead to one (32-31) before NKU rolled off nine straight points to push the lead back to double digits, 41-31 at the 16:28 mark.

- UC was 5-of-10 from the free throw line, which marks a season-low in both free throw makes and attempts.

- Makenzie Cann made her first career start.
- Marley Hill added her third double-double of the season and her second in three games with 14 points and 11 rebounds against the Norse. She now has five games with double digit points and three games with double-digit rebounds.
- Jasmine Whitfield connected on three of her five three-point shots, the most she has had in a game since the second game of the season against UT-Martin.
- Chelsea Jamison pulled down a career-best nine rebounds, with five coming on the offensive end.
- Marley Hill set a career high in blocks with four.
