TULSA, Okla. - The University of Cincinnati women's basketball team suffered a 74-52 loss to Tulsa during their first American Athletic Conference road contest Wednesday evening.

- Tulsa started the contest with an early run, scoring the first nine points of the contest. UC didn't crack the scoreboard until the 15:39 mark when they immediately answered the Tulsa spurt with 12 straight points to take a 12-9 lead at the 13:01 mark. Brandey Tarver opened the UC scoring while Makenzie Cann and Ana Owens each hit threes during the spree.
- UC took the lead for the first time in the second half at the 12:38 mark after a 10-2 run that was sparked by pair of three-pointers from Makenzie Cann.
- However, Tulsa immediately answered with an overpowering 18-3 run that gave the Golden Hurricane a double-digit lead, 57-46 with 8:04 to play.

- Ana Owens reached double-digits in scoring for the ninth time this season, finishing with 14 points.
- Marley Hill recorded her sixth double-double of the season with 11 points and 10 rebounds. It marks the eighth time this season and the 11th time in her career she has recorded double-digit points. She has had six double-digit rebound performances this season and nine in her career.
- Makenzie Cann continued her streak of consecutive games with a made three after going 3-for-5 from behind the three-point line, hitting at least one three in every game this season.
